ICAI Warns About the Fake Notice Revealed Regarding the Rescheduling of CA Exam

New Delhi:  ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) warned the students about the fake news that has got viral. Through its tweet, ICAI said that the news regarding rescheduling of CA exam is totally fake.

ICAI Said There’s No Change in the CA Exam Date

As the fake news has been circulated all around. The fake news stated that the ICAI exams will be held in January 2021. However, ICAI said there’s no change in the CA November 2020 examination.

ICAI tweeted:

“Rebuttal of Fake News being disseminated in Social Media-ICAI hereby advises its Students that attached Revised Schedule of ICAI Exams is false. Appropriate Action is being initiated against those spreading this info & we reiterate to follow http://icai.org for updates.”

Also asked the students to follow only the official website of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India – https://www.icai.org/

Apparently, it will be taking strict and appropriate action the ones who spread such fake information of CA examination.

The exam of ICAI CA was scheduled to be held on the 2nd and 7th of November. It will now be held from November 21 to December 14, 2020.

ICAI said: “Students are hereby informed that there is no change in exam schedule as already announced vide ICAI’s announcement dated 13.10.2020 (https://resource.cdn.icai.org/61467exam50014.pdf) & the same shall be held strictly in accordance with schedule announced already. Earlier, the exams were postponed due to coronavirus.  The latest update suggests that the exam was postponed recently again due to the Bihar elections.

It is to be noted that the exam will be conducted in single-shift for all days- from 2 pm to 5 pm. The foundation paper for 3 and 4 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm. As per previous data, CA exams would be conducted in 207 cities across the country and in 5 cities abroad.

Candidates can carry face masks(face shield that is optional), hand gloves, personal transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer bottle, exam related items/documents like calculators, stationery items, Admit Card, Photo ID card, etc. as per instruction.
